Shivani Mathur

Shivani Mathur is an artist based in London, with a studio at Create Space London. She describes her practice in two words: Non Linear.

In her own words:

"I study breakage, fractures, conflict and decay. In my work, gaps and cracks are not fault lines. They are pathways that allow light to shine through, so we can see what we had not seen before, touch what appears to be intangible and dream the impossible."

Her work moves through light and holographic projection, as in Touching the Intangible (2022).
