Olga Lomaka
painter, sculptor
Olga Lomaka is a British multi-disciplinary artist known for her work and
her dedication to the arts. Her signature style blends traditional technique
with modern methods, reaching beyond painting into installations, relief
sculptures and free-standing sculptures. She invites the viewer into a world
of pop art, recognisable imagery and consumerist symbols that sit alongside
contrasting beliefs.
With a strong presence in art fairs and biennales worldwide, Lomaka's work
has earned wide recognition. Her "Pink Magic" series, shown at the Royal
Academy Summer Exhibition curated by Sir Grayson Perry, has been praised in
The Sunday Times and The Guardian. Print editions of her work, issued by
Jealous Gallery & Print Studio in London, feature at Art Basel Miami, the
Venice Biennale and the Royal Academy of Arts. Her honours include Best
Contemporary Artist of the Year, awarded by Phillips Auction House in London.
Her work is held in collections worldwide, including the Pierre Cardin
Foundation in Lacoste, the Fine Art Foundation in London, the Loyola
University Foundation in Chicago and the Czong Institute for Contemporary
Art (CICA Museum) in South Korea, as well as private collections.
