Introduction to Laser Cutting

In this series of two one hour workshops we will go through core concepts of laser cutting from how laser cutters work, to designing using free and open source tools like FreeCAD and Inkscape and how to avoid common costly pitfalls. You will then have the opportunity to put what you learnt into practice and you will be able to have your designs reviewed in order to ensure the best chance of success for your project. There are no knowledge requirements for these workshops and all skill levels are welcome to join.
