On the 1st of August here at CSL we celebrated its 2 year anniversary since first opening our doors at Wembley Point to members and the public. Many studio-holding members opened their spaces for public view, along with hung works throughout the site showing current works and examples of their practice. Visitors were encouraged to participate in free activities including screen-printing, ceramics, mosaics, and laser cutting conducting by our members on a voluntary basis. The day was pleasantly interrupted by live musical performance by our guest band the Seafoxes from Cable St studios.
Here at CSL we look forward to hosting many more open days long into the future and as we do we are confident that the community that is developing around us will continue to grow and reflect the diverse range of skills and practices that we aim to foster.
